This piece, set in Kent’s iconic Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara, Gravesend, was commissioned as a surprise for the happy couple. I loved the chosen pose, as it shows scene and their wedding attire really well, without their facial features being the focal point, engendering a certain demure to the portrait.
