Kavita and Dhruv

Kavita and Druv’s wedding at Pendleton Manor Hotel was simply stunning and I was delighted to paint this scene closing the ceremony, when they’re officially husband and wife.

The peacock-themed décor was fantastic and I love how the feathers on the Mandap’s pillars looked like birds in flight. The detail of the carved wood was incredible, particularly the swans and the reflective gold steps were also a joy to paint.

I studied both their fabulous wedding attire closely and was sure to include the peacocks on Dhruv’s sherwani jacket and shoes.
