Laura and Sean

These beautiful childhood sweethearts got married at Rugby’s magnificent Bourton Hall. The building and it’s scenery’s so rich in detail, I enjoyed recreating the textures of the stonework, paths and walls. As the most panoramic of the canvases I offer to paint on, the 20” x 30” suited this scene well. Some extra time in the studio was also dedicated for details such as Sean’s accented waistcoat and Laura’s gorgeous gown with embroidered floral motifs.
