Sally and Steve

I painted this piece retrospectively from a collection of photographs. One image was the forest setting that I’ve painted here, with Sally and Steve walking away from us, the viewer. The reference image I used here for their portraits was monochrome, so I referred to other photographs of the happy couple for colour.
