Vidhya and Gobi

A beautiful sunny day at The Manor at Bickley. As a surprise gift, Vidhya had me paint Gobi’s late father (on left) as though he was attending the ceremony - what a beautiful gesture to honour his memory. I painted Gobi’s auntie looking at him adoringly as he happily tied the knot. The wedding party was a very large, I went on a photoshoot mission to reference the family members for the painting and carefully composed the piece to include all their gorgeous outfits, plus the stunning décor and the manor house itself (needless to say a studio finish was required!)
