Tina and Dean

Tina & Dean’s magical moonlit moment at The Lawn, Rochford. I was to paint the fountain &, on arrival, I asked if I could also include the manor house too, as it has so much character. I painted house and fountain in daylight, though really I was hanging on for moonlight to capture the evening antics of cake-cutting and sparklers under the bright ‘Waxing Gibbous’ moon and a myriad of stars. I made sure to include their personalised ‘de La Camera’ cake-topper and the retro ice cream van in the composition, both symbolic of Tina’s maiden name.
