A dream beach wedding in Cornwall! This live painting was a surprise for the groom, who went to art college at nearby Falmouth.
After much deliberation about which side of the stunning Carbis Bay I ought to paint, I decided to use artistic licence to include both! I also embellished the curls in the bride’s hair for a mermaid look.
I was sure to include Godrevey Lighthouse and of course Rosie the dog, who had a lead role in both the ceremony and the speeches, needed a prime spot in the composition too!
This painting on 16” x 20” canvas was completed at the event.
